Founder and Convener, Restoration Evangelical Outreach UK
My name is Dr Michael Anyigor, and I am a university lecturer, street evangelist, and social impact practitioner committed to compassionate, lawful, and respectful engagement in public spaces. My work brings together faith, education, and community outreach, with a focus on serving people who are often overlooked or marginalised.
Alongside my academic career, I have spent over ten years leading and participating in street evangelism and outreach to people who are unsaved, homeless, or in need of prayer on the streets. Working with a dedicated team of volunteers, we engage individuals through conversation, prayer, and practical support. Our approach is rooted in dignity, empathy, and trust, ensuring every person is respected and heard.
My outreach practice has been shaped through extensive evangelism, discipleship, and prayer training, alongside participation in conferences in the UK and internationally. All activities are conducted within UK legal and safeguarding frameworks, with a strong commitment to respecting freedom of belief, personal boundaries, and community diversity.
I am also the convener of a global evangelism prayer network, connecting believers across different nations who are committed to praying for and engaging in street outreach. This network provides spiritual support and coordination for those reaching out to people who are unsaved, homeless, or seeking prayer in public spaces. Prayer remains the foundation of our work.
I strongly believe that evangelism is an act of love, flowing from the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. This love is expressed through service, humility, and genuine care, not coercion. Our outreach is open to partnership with churches, Christian organisations, and individuals who share a heart for compassionate engagement.
Every person is treated with dignity, empathy, and genuine care, regardless of their circumstances.
We serve those who are overlooked or marginalised, bringing hope and spiritual support to the streets.
All activities operate within UK legal and safeguarding frameworks with respect for freedom of belief.
To demonstrate the love of Christ through prayerful, lawful, and compassionate street outreach, bringing hope, dignity, and spiritual support to people who are unsaved, homeless, or in need of prayer.
According to the Great Commission Matthew 28:18-20 NIV
I convene a global evangelism prayer network connecting believers across different nations who are committed to praying for and engaging in street outreach. This network provides spiritual support and coordination for those reaching out to people who are unsaved, homeless, or seeking prayer in public spaces.
Prayer remains the foundation of our work. Through united intercession and coordinated outreach, we believe God transforms lives and communities.
